History

The Beginnings

Halfpica was founded in 2014 by Anup and Gaurav. The two designers first met around 2008 when both of them were working at Buzzintown (an entertainment portal which provides information and a guide to events and movies in cities across India), then reunited in 2014 when Anup interviewed at Unicommerce (a web based multi channel order fulfillment software), where Gaurav was working at the time and they did discover a shared passion for digital design.

He has 10 years experience designing, leading and realizing multidisciplinary design projects, an academic degree in computer applications and design. Anup has a strong background in product design and growth-driven strategy mainly in the entertainment, travel, ed-tech & e-commerce Industries.

Head of design

Gaurav Sharma

As being an introvert, he doesn't talk much, quietly does the job to the highest standards. Over the past 12 years in the profession, Gaurav worked with early-stage startups over a longer period to help them with everything from defining the scope of their product, product needs, and UX/UI design.
